Our housing services
With 30 years’ experience in the provision of secure and affordable housing for low to moderate income households and the delivery of innovative housing products for disadvantaged people.
Compass provides a diverse range of housing programs within our communities which provide assistance to people who may have difficulties obtaining or maintaining housing in the public and private market due to their support needs.
Compass’ portfolio includes Community Housing, Supported Accommodation, Aboriginal Housing, Homelessness programs, Affordable Housing under the National Rental Affordability Scheme Affordable Housing and under the Building Better Cities Program as well as Fee-for-Service under our Market Rental Program.
Compass currently manages over 6,500 properties across regional New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand.
The Housing Access team provide comprehensive range of applicant services and advice to clients, advocates and stakeholders.
- Manage the intake, assessment and approval process for new applicants to the Social Housing Register
- Facilitate the delivery of Temporary Accommodation Private Rental Assistance products in Cessnock, Muswellbrook and Taree
- Refer applicants to other service providers and provide information on alternative housing products and services
- Provide relevant stakeholders with information on applying for and access Housing Services for their clients
